Top 10 is bloated filler. Top 5 is too exclusive. Eight is the number where competition stays alive and every slot matters.

Community nominates.
Not a form you fill out. Not a fee you pay. Nominations come from the people who actually use these businesses and services.

Not pay-to-play.
No business can buy a ranking. No business can buy protection from being ranked out. The list reflects the community, full stop.

The rank can be challenged.
Rankings are not permanent. If the community believes a ranking is wrong, it can be contested. Accountability is built in.
